Farewell to Russian fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev will take place on Thursday, May 4, in the city of Shchelkovo near Moscow in the Cathedral of the Life-Giving Trinity. The start of the official ceremony is scheduled for 12:00 Moscow time.
Farewell will be open. On Wednesday, May 3, it was reported in Telegram– channel of the fashion house Slava Zaitsev. Zaitsev will be buried at the Shchelkovsky Zhegalovsky cemetery.
Earlier source informed RIA Novosti that they plan to bury the fashion designer at the Zdekhovsky cemetery in Shchyolkovo. At the same time, the ex-director of the fashion house Slava Zaitsev stated that he was making every effort to have Zaitsev buried at the Novodevichy cemetery in Moscow.
Soviet and Russian fashion designer, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Zaitsev passed away at the age of 86 on April 30. It was reported that he ended up in one of the Moscow Region hospitals with stomach bleeding. Subsequently, Zaitsev died in intensive care.
In recent years, Zaitsev lived in the Shchelkovsky district of the Moscow region. The fashion designer had a house in the village of Kablukovo.
The Zhegalovsky cemetery in the city of Shchelkovo, Moscow Region, is active, but it is closed for free burial. The cemetery is available for family burials.
