The US and other Western countries that have imposed sanctions on Russia should consider the interests of their citizens. This opinion was expressed on April 30 by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin on the air of the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
According to Volodin, the Europeans are experiencing all the hardships of the decisions of the US and EU authorities. The economic crisis that erupted due to sanctions led to the fact that a number of governments were forced to resign, the politician added.
“If we talk about the United States, the crisis there simply reaches its climax. And in this situation they need to turn their heads, understand responsibility,” quotes Volodin TASS.
