In central Russia, +25°C is expected in the second half of next week, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, said.
“The rise in temperature in the Central Federal District should be expected in the middle of the week,” – quotes RIA Novosti May 13 Vilfanda.
According to him, on Wednesday, May 17, the air will warm up to +18…+23°C, and on Thursday the temperature will fluctuate in the range of +20…+25°C. Vilfand explained that this is 1-2°C above the climatic norm. The meteorologist also specified that it would be 1-2°C warmer in St. Petersburg than in Moscow.
Saturday, May 13, became in Moscow the warmest day since the beginning of the year. The air temperature at the main weather station of the capital at VDNKh rose to +22.3°C by 15:00. Thus, the weather in the capital updated the temperature maximum, which was set the day before.
