US approves possible sale of MH-60R helicopters to Norway
The US State Department has approved a potential sale to Norway of six MH-60R multipurpose helicopters, the US Defense Cooperation Agency announced on April 26. The cost of the deal, together with related weapons, is estimated at $1 billion.
The agency, which is part of the US Department of Defense, sent a notification to the US Congress. The Pentagon assured congressmen that the sale would advance US foreign policy goals by enhancing the security of one of its NATO allies. RIA News.
