On the night of Wednesday, May 3, the Ukrainian side aimed two unmanned aerial vehicles at the Kremlin and tried to use them to strike at the Kremlin residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The military and special services were able to eliminate the drones in time. This was told in the Kremlin, transmits TASS.

As a result of timely actions taken by the military and special services with the use of radar warfare systems, unmanned aerial vehicles were disabled. When their fragments fell, none of the people were injured, no material damage was caused, the Kremlin press service said in a statement.

As a result of Ukraine’s attempt to attack, the head of state was not injured. Putin’s work schedule remained unchanged. The presidential administration called the attempted UAV attack on the Kremlin an attempt to assassinate Putin. They said that Moscow regards the attack on the residence of the Russian leader as a planned terrorist act on the eve of Victory Day.

“The Russian side reserves the right to take retaliatory measures where and when it sees fit,” the Kremlin said.
