The UK authorities will send hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of more than 200 kilometers to Ukraine. The corresponding statement followed after the meeting of the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak, writes Reuters.

“The Prime Minister confirmed the UK’s continued delivery of hundreds of surface-to-air missile systems and additional unmanned aerial systems, including hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of more than 200 km,” the government said in an excerpt from a statement.

It is specified that the supplies will be delivered to Ukraine in the coming months. The exact timing of these deliveries is not named.

On May 11, the UK Ministry of Defense also confirmed transfer to Kyiv Storm Shadow long-range missiles. Their maximum range can reach 560 km. However, Ukraine most likely received an export version of these missiles – their range is 250-300 km.
