British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley will travel to Washington on May 9 to meet with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and members of Congress. The main theme of this visit will be assistance to Kyiv.
“James Cleverly will stress the importance of a united international front continuing to work for Ukraine’s victory,” he said. quotes TASS statement from the British Foreign Office.
On Tuesday, Cleverly will speak with Blinken, and talks are scheduled for Wednesday with leading Republicans and Democrats in Congress. The parties during the talks will also touch upon issues of economic cooperation between the US and the UK.
