Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan appeared in person for the first time since the news of his illness appeared in person, writes April 29 RIA Novosti.

The head of the republic visited the Teknofest aerospace technology festival in Istanbul. He was accompanied by his wife Emine and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who arrived in Turkey on a visit, with his wife Mehriban, as well as the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of National Unity of Libya, Abdulhamid Dbeiba.

The event, held on the territory of the former Ataturk International Airport, demonstrates various types of military aircraft and helicopters, drones and other equipment of the Turkish Air Force.

Erdogan felt unwell April 25, when he spoke with journalists of local TV channels live. After a long pause, the head of the country returned to the air and informed that he had caught the stomach flu. On medical advice, he missed several campaign events.
