The trade turnover of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China from January to April 2023 increased by 41.3% in annual terms. It amounted to $73.148 billion.

It is also reported that China’s foreign trade turnover for the first four months of 2023 decreased by 1.9%, to $1.94 trillion compared to a year ago. Exports from China over this period increased by 2.5% compared to 2022, to $1.12 trillion.
The Russian Federation mainly supplies energy resources to the PRC. Oil, gas, coal and fuel oil in the first quarter of 2023 accounted for more than 80% of all Russian supplies in value terms.
