President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a working visit to Russia on May 8-9. The head of state will take part in the Victory parade in Moscow, visit the Rzhev memorial in the Tver region and honor the memory of the Kazakh soldiers of the 100th and 101st rifle divisions. This was told by the press secretary of the President Ruslan Zheldibay.
Tokayev will visit a mass grave in the village of Trubino. His uncle Kasym Boltaev is buried there. About 22 thousand soldiers and officers who were called up from Kazakhstan took part in the battle near Rzhev. About this on Monday, May 8, informs RIA News.
