Over 200 cases of mass shooting have occurred in the United States since the beginning of 2023: more than once a day, said White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre.
“More than 200 cases of mass shootings in 128 days of this year. More than 14 thousand people died this year from armed violence,” Jean-Pierre said at a briefing, writes on May 8 RIA News.
Earlier, the owner of the Oval Office ordered state flags to be lowered at half mast in connection with the shooting in Texas, where attack victims armed man at a shopping center in the city of Allen were 8 people, including children.
