Deputies of the State Duma turned to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin with a proposal to introduce incentive benefits for the collection of used tires. In particular, the Russians are invited to give discounts for technical inspection and permission for temporary free parking.
As reported on Thursday, May 4, RIA Newsthe deputies from the “New people” became the authors of the initiative.
“It seems appropriate to provide incentive benefits for Russian citizens in order to create conditions for the involvement of citizens in the process of recycling used tires,” the appeal says.
According to the deputies, now the Russians are also obliged to hand over the tires for recycling, but there is no control over this process. The new initiative should help increase the amount of recycled car tires.
