At the event, the governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Yuri Bezdudny delivered a welcoming speech:
“There are kids of all ages here. Students have already chosen a profession and are improving in the chosen direction, and schoolchildren are still choosing a profession by trial and error. Today, the labor market and the changed world dictate new conditions to us, therefore, in the realities of the new day, not bankers and lawyers are in demand, but simple working professions: a cook, a welder, a mechanic, a hairdresser. Therefore, anyone who owns these professions can be sure that he will always have a job. There are real professionals in the hall today. I am absolutely sure that the strongest won, because the jury was impartial. The winners are still waiting for the All-Russian stage. We will definitely cheer for our guys who will go to represent the Nenets Autonomous Okrug,” the governor said.

216 contestants in 25 competencies took part in the regional stage of the Championship.
The championship was held in two age categories: the main one, in which students from educational programs of secondary vocational education competed, and the junior category, in which schoolchildren from 14 years old participated.
In the category “Medical and social care”, Olga Mnykh became the winner among juniors, Oksana Permilovskaya won in the main category.

“I’m very happy that I won, I can’t even describe it in words!” I was worried, because the competence “Medical and social care” was opened on the basis of the college for the first time. I did not prepare for the tasks themselves for long: we studied all the given topics. It was hard only at the first trials, because we participated in the championship for the first time. The most difficult thing was to cope with emotions, stress and fear, but we did it. I think nothing would have happened without the support of my girls, all the participants supported each other, they are great. Thanks also to the expert mentors who helped me through the challenges throughout the trials. They also provided great support, they said that we could handle it. And my relatives suffered with me, – says the winner.
Sergey Vokuev became the best in the “Physical culture, sports and fitness” competency. The young man is in his last year, plans to become a physical education teacher, is actively involved in volleyball and has many gold medals and awards.
Sport is an integral part of my life. I do not regret that I decided to become a physical education teacher. I think that I have chosen the right direction, – Sergey Vokuev notes.

Also at the closing ceremony of the championship announced the winners in all categories. As we wrote earlier, competitive tests were held for three days.
The championship was organized by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Nenets Regional Center for the Development of Education.
