President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Moscow to take part in the parade in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. About this on Tuesday, May 9, informs TASS with reference to information obtained from the embassy of the republic in the Russian Federation.
The diplomatic mission confirmed the arrival of Berdimuhamedov. Earlier that he would arrive in Moscow on May 9, a diplomatic source reported.
Russia is grateful to state leaders who arrived in Moscow to participate in solemn events in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Victory. This was noted by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation. He stressed that May 9 remains one of the main holidays for the peoples of the former USSR.
The heads of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia have already arrived in Moscow for the Victory Day celebrations. By tradition, the leaders of the states, together with the President of the Russian Federation, will lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on May 9. Also take place informal breakfast leaders, the Kremlin reported earlier.
