The head of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, left for Moscow. The President will take part in the celebrations on the occasion of the Victory Day. This was reported in the press service of Rahmon.

Before leaving for the airport, Rahmon visited Victory Park, located in Dushanbe, and took part in the wreath-laying ceremony in honor of the anniversary of the Victory. The main celebrations in the park will be held on May 9. They will be attended by the speaker of the upper house of parliament and the head of the cabinet of the republic.
President of Russia May 5 invited Rahmon to Moscow for the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The leaders of the two countries talked by phone and exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the Victory Day.
