Today, 194 residents of the region tested their knowledge of the history of the Great Patriotic War in full-time format

This year, seven face-to-face sites were available in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug: the Nenets Museum of Local Lore, the central library, the Prestige socio-cultural center, the Kvantorium children’s technopark, the Mayak center, the regional public reception of United Russia, and the administration of the Zapolyarny district .

— Today, the International Historical Campaign “Dictation of Victory” started, which is written not only in Russia, but all over the world. Traditionally, the Nenets Museum of Local Lore and the Central Library have become the largest face-to-face venues in the Nenets Okrug. The number of participants is increasing every year. The scale of the action is also growing: last year a new and interesting platform was opened – a chum. You can check your knowledge of the history of the Great Patriotic War online today, as well as throughout the year on the site, – said Alexander Chursanov, coordinator of the Victory Dictation campaign in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
According to the organizers, the “Victory Dictation” allows participants not only to touch the historical memory, but also to learn new things about the past war and its heroes.

– “Victory Dictation” is feelings, emotions and memory of our grandfathers, great-grandfathers, their feat and heroism. We must be worthy of the memory of our ancestors, worthy of the memory of the fallen. And in order to keep this memory with honor, you need to study history and treat our Fatherland with care. Historical memory is not only about the past, but also about the future. In order not to repeat the terrible events of the past, it is important to learn the lessons that life teaches us,” said Deputy Governor of the NAO Natalia Sidorova.
Today, 23 people wrote a dictation at the Quantorium children’s technopark. The youth members of the district took part in the action. Many of the guys wrote “Victory Dictation” for the first time.

— This is the first time I am writing the Victory Dictation, so I am a little worried. I spent yesterday evening watching war documentaries, reading something on the Internet, learning new information. I think it is important to know, remember and honor the history of the Great Patriotic War, says schoolgirl Arina Erekhinskaya.
The participants had to answer 25 questions: 20 on general military-historical topics and five on regional ones.
— Answered 23 questions. The assignments were difficult. But I did it. The topics of the assignments are different – films, paintings, directors, – Vasily Chepinoga shares after writing the dictation.

I couldn’t answer three questions. Probably, we will need to improve our knowledge of the history of the Great Patriotic War and try our hand again next year. I did not prepare for the dictation. I think that knowledge should be tested in this way – without preparation, – said Danila Khmarenko, head of the Yunarmiya in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
