The decision to end the heating season was made against the background of warm weather outside. The authorities also took into account the forecast of meteorologists.
As the governor of the city Alexander Beglov pointed out, the heating season in St. Petersburg passed in the normal mode. This year the duration of the season was 220 days.
The report notes that heat supply organizations have already been instructed to carry out scheduled repair and maintenance work at heat sources and routine tests of heat networks. This must be done before the start of the next heating period.
At the end of April, it was reported that the heating system in Moscow switched to summer mode. Preparations for the new autumn-winter period have already begun in the capital, which will be completed by September 1st.
