A fire broke out at the Ilsky oil refinery due to a drone attack. About this on Friday, May 5, informs TASS with reference to emergency services in the city.
“The drone attacked the territory of the Ilsky refinery, as a result of which a fire started on an area of 60 square meters. At present, open burning has been eliminated,” the source said.
The fact that the fire was extinguished was also reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to rescuers, there were no casualties due to the incident.
Over the past day, this is the second drone attack on the Kuban refinery. the day before due to the fall of four UAVs fuel tanks caught fire at the plant. The Governor of Kuban reported that no one was injured in the incident. The fire was localized on an area of 400 square meters. m. On the night of May 3 drone hit into an oil tank in the village of Volna, Temryuk region. The fire broke out on an area of 1.25 thousand square meters. The fire was extinguished after 16 hours.
Another drone attacked the territory of the Novoshakhtinsk oil plant in the Rostov region last Thursday. The drone exploded, after which a fire also started. Another drone spotted over the Voronezh region managed to shoot down the air defense system.
