Measures to replace damaged copper sheets on the dome of the Senate Palace of the Kremlin are over, writes On May 5, RIA Novosti quoted Yelena Krylova, press secretary of the Russian president’s administration.
“Two copper sheets have been replaced, the work has been completed,” Krylova informed.
On May 4, Krylova reported that the repair work will be completed 5 May.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation said that as a result of the drone attack on the Moscow Kremlin on the night of May 3 two copper sheets on the dome of the Senate Palace were damaged. As the speaker described, the sheets were “literally scorched”.
The Russian authorities blamed the Ukrainian leadership for the incident. A criminal case has been opened on this fact. under the article “Terrorist attack”. In the light of what happened, official Moscow reserved the right to retaliate when and where it deems it necessary. In Kyiv, their involvement to the state of emergency rejected.
