The educational competition gives schoolchildren from various parts of the country a chance to realize their dreams, communicate with peers, initiators of the most interesting projects in the country and go on a trip with a team of like-minded people to one of the regions of the country along with the “More than a trip” platform. Children can meet successful young people from all over the country and make sure that a children’s idea can grow into a large-scale project.

Participant of full-time semi-finals in Kazan last year Alisa Gabdrafikova became junior journalist of the Club of Young Journalists. She competed in the nomination “Tell me about the main thing!”. This course is for those who want to improve their media skills.

– At the first stage, you need to shoot a video business card and prepare an essay about yourself. I am connected with the media, so there were no difficulties. The case study was very interesting and challenging. There were various cases with problems in the field of media to choose from. I chose a partner case from the leading liberal arts university in our country. I assembled a team and created a project of the current youth media “Youth of the North”. My project continues to live, we talk about the young talents of the Northwestern Federal District, – the participant recalls.

According to Alice, the main thing in the Big Change is the people who surround you. Your mentor, team, other participants become one big friendly family.

The competition always arouses the interest of schoolchildren who are fond of various areas. Member of the Club of Young Journalists Lyudmila Vykhrist will try her hand this year. For several years, the high school student has been involved in a patriotic association – the regional branch of the Yunarmiya.

– I thought about it for a long time. It’s always interesting for me to try something new. The big change interested me in that there is an opportunity for everyone to express themselves and find their strengths. There are 12 thematic areas, for me the closest thing is the historical memory of “Remember”. I have been in the ranks of the Yunarmiya for 6 years already and I want to show everything that I have learned over the years. I also dream of going on a trip under the “More than a trip” program. I have already filled out an application and we are starting work on a video business card, – said Lyudmila Vykhrist.
