From Sunday, May 7, a state of emergency is introduced throughout the Kurgan region. The authorities took this step because of the forest fires that swept the region. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the region Vadim Shumkov, information about this posted in the official Telegram channel of the regional government.
In addition, earlier the governor pointed out that the situation in a number of places in the region was critical due to heavy winds. He, as the head of the region explained, prevents aircraft from taking off into the air.

Due to forest fires in the Kurgan region, evacuation announced the villages of Redkino, Ploskoy, Sladko-Karasinskoye, Uldus, Kodskoye, as well as the Poplar microdistrict, the suburban villages of Uval and Smolino and neighboring garden non-profit partnerships.
An Il-76 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation also arrived in the region. The arrival of two Il-76s of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is expected.
