The Social Fund of Russia (SFR) sent 14 thousand veterans of the Great Patriotic War payments in the amount of 10 thousand rubles, they are timed to coincide with Victory Day. This was announced on Friday, May 5th.
Payments will be received by participants and invalids of the war living in Russia and the Baltic States, clarified in the press service of the SFR.
It is noted that the funds were automatically assigned to all veterans in April along with a monthly cash payment, two pensions, and additional material support. Taking into account these payments, the average income of veterans through the fund is 60.3 thousand rubles. per month.
The SFR also recalled that the holiday payment is due to the disabled of the Great Patriotic War and direct participants in the events of those years. This includes military personnel, partisans, intelligence officers, underground workers, counterintelligence officers and defenders of Leningrad.
Earlier it was reported that payments on Victory Day will be received by more than 68 thousand inhabitants of the Leningrad region. The amount of such payments is 5000 rubles. and 10 thousand rubles.
