Russian Railways continue restoration work after the derailment of wagons in the Bryansk region. Suburban trains between Orel and Bryansk run on a shorter route. This was announced on Wednesday, May 3, in the Russian Railways.
At the press office toldthat restoration work continues in the Bryansk region on the stretch Snezhetskaya – White Coast. It is specified that part of the carriages of the train has been moved to the station. In addition, measures are being taken to clear the infrastructure for its restoration.
Also, for the period of restoration work, commuter trains run between Orel and Bryansk along a shortened route to Karachev station, from where passengers are delivered by bus to Bryansk-Orlovsky station, Russian Railways added.
Russian Railways reported that in the Bryansk region, on a non-electrified single-track section Snezhetskaya – Belye Berega due to illegal interference in the work of railway transport locomotive derailed and 20 freight wagons. Later, the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported an explosion on the railway tracks.
