Russian hockey player Nikita Chibrikov has signed a rookie contract with the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL), agent Dan Milstein said on Twitter on May 1. The agreement with the 20-year-old player is for three years.
Winnipeg selected Chibrikov in the second round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, 50th overall. The striker last season played 31 matches in the capital “Spartak” in the KHL, in which he scored 2 points, scoring one puck and making one assist, writes RIA News.
In addition, Chibrikov earned 10 points in seven games in the youth team of the “red-whites”. There he threw the puck into the opponent’s goal five times and made five passes.
