In the near future, Russia will send a large batch of construction materials to Turkey to rebuild the country after the earthquakes that occurred in February this year. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this at the ceremony of delivering fuel to the Turkish nuclear power plant Akkuyu.

The head of state noted that Russia sympathizes with Turkey and is aware of the difficult tasks the authorities of the republic have to solve in terms of restoring infrastructure, housing and social facilities.
