In the center of Moscow in the second half of Thursday, May 4, temporary restrictions on the passage of cars will be introduced. Residents and guests of the capital are encouraged to use public transport to move around the city. This will save a lot of time.
About this on Tuesday, May 2, warned in the metropolitan department of transport and development of road transport infrastructure. Where exactly will it be impossible to drive on May 4?
- From 16:30 Moscow time, the passage on the part of the Garden Ring from Zemlyanoy Val to Novinsky Boulevard, on Taganskaya Square and Volgogradsky Prospekt will be closed.
- From 17:30 it will be impossible to drive on Mokhovaya, Tverskaya, Okhotny Ryad, Petrovka and Solyanka streets. Also from now on, restrictions will be introduced on the Kremlin, Ustyinskaya and Kadashevskaya embankments.
- Novy Arbat, Bolshaya Sadovaya and Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge will be closed for traffic from 22:30.
- From 23:30, the passage for motorists will be closed on Volgogradsky Prospekt, on the streets of 2nd Brestskaya, Bolshaya Polyanka, Novy Arbat, as well as on the Garden Ring section.
In addition, it will not be possible to park cars in places of temporary overlaps. The restrictions will be in effect from midnight May 3 until 13:00 Tuesday, May 9. Also, drivers are warned that from 16:30 on May 4 to 3:00 on Friday, May 5, two-way traffic will be introduced on two streets – Taganskaya and Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Two-way traffic will also be organized in Marxistsky and Mayakovsky lanes during the specified period of time.
