From May 18 to May 20, St. Petersburg hosted the International Competition for the Professional Skills of Bus Drivers. The participants of the competition completed 20 tasks on traffic rules, showed practical skills in the bus depot No. 6. This was reported on the website of the city administration
The competition was held within the framework of the St. Petersburg Transport Festival for the 25th time. 21 teams from 18 regions of Russia competed for prizes. In addition, the teams came from Belarus and Kazakhstan.
A total of 56 drivers took part in the competition. Naryan-Mar was presented by the driver of the Naryan-Mar ATP Pavel Polyakov. According to the results of all competitions, he took ninth place:
– Happy new experience. Last year in Naryan-Mar, he took first place in the competition of professional skills “Best in Profession”. As a result of the competition, he represented the Naryan-Mar ATP at the international level. The opponents were strong, I was very worried. Satisfied with the result. We passed a test to test knowledge of the rules of the road. Then it was necessary to perform high-speed maneuvering and curly driving on the bus. Eight figures passed through high-speed maneuvering: “Circle”, “Boxing”, “Parking”, “Tunnel gates”, “Snake”, “Rust”, “Relay”, “Stop”, Pavel Polyakov said.
It should be noted that the organizers of the competition are the Transport Committee and State Unitary Enterprise Passazhiravtotrans. The competition for the professional skills of bus drivers has been held annually since 1998.
