More than 60 Republicans from the United States House of Representatives called on Joe Biden to test his mental faculties or withdraw from the presidential race. This is reported by Fox News, citing a letter from US congressmen.
“We believe that, regardless of gender, age, or political party, all presidents should document and demonstrate healthy mental capacity,” the message, signed by 61 Republicans, said. An excerpt from a letter leads TV channel.
In it, they also express concern about the “current cognitive state” of the incumbent leader and doubt his ability to continue to govern the country for another term if he is re-elected. The message reminds that Biden underwent medical examinations twice during his presidency. However, as the channel notes, the president either never tested his mental abilities, or if he did, the results of the test “were hidden from the public.”
