In the four months of 2023, 11,101 deceived equity holders were reinstated in Russia. This was announced on Wednesday, May 10, by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

“Of these, 4,050 equity holders received assistance through federal mechanisms, and 7,051 through regional ones,” he stressed. Khusnullin’s words quotes press service of the Russian government.

Since the beginning of the year, 57 houses, previously recognized as problematic, have been put into operation in the country. Ilshat Shagiakhmetov, General Director of the Territorial Development Fund, emphasized that 30 of the total number of houses have already been completed. For this, federal mechanisms were used.

“3,189 equity holders received or are in the process of receiving housing in them. Another 27 houses were built with the help of regional mechanisms. Apartments in them are intended for 1,349 affected citizens,” he shared the details.

In April alone, 1,870 equity holders were reinstated in their rights. In total, over 170 thousand citizens affected by the actions of developers received assistance in 2019-2023.

About 1,200 objects in Russia are considered long-term construction. Over the past year they number decreased twice, Khusnullin reported in January. According to him, the deceived equity holders will be able to receive either the keys to the apartment or the compensation due to them. The register of long-term construction was reduced by 1315 objects.

From 2019 to mid-2022, 37.8 thousand deceived equity holders received cash compensation for a total of 95 billion rubles.
