North Korean leader Kim Jong-un inspected the work of the interim committee to prepare for the launch of a military reconnaissance satellite. This was reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of the DPRK (CTAC).
“After familiarizing himself with the work of the committee, he inspected the military reconnaissance satellite No. 1, which is ready for launch after passing the final inspection of the general assembly and tests in the space environment,” – notes CTAC.
Kim Jong-un highly appreciated the work of the committee and praised for the responsibility in carrying out the task entrusted to it. He also “approved the subsequent work plan of the interim preparatory committee for the launch of the satellite.”
That Pyongyang plans to launch military reconnaissance satellite, it became known on April 19. Kim Jong-un ordered the deployment of a group of similar devices to improve the country’s intelligence capabilities.
