Pork ribs with apples and honey in the oven is a fragrant and very satisfying dish. It is suitable for a festive table or an ordinary family dinner.

Required Ingredients:

  • pork ribs – 1.5 kg;
  • apples – 3 pcs;
  • garlic – 6 cloves;
  • honey – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • mustard – 1 tsp;
  • vegetable oil – 3 tbsp. l.;
  • lemon – 1 pc;
  • salt – to taste;
  • dry spices – to taste;
  • bay leaf – 2 pcs.

How to cook pork ribs with apples and honey:

  1. Prepare the necessary ingredients. If the ribs were in the freezer, then they should first be thawed at room temperature. The number of apples can be increased as desired. Sweet or sour-sweet varieties are best suited.
  2. Rinse the ribs and cut into portions.
  3. Send honey, mustard, salt to taste and spices (rosemary, basil, a mixture of ground peppers or others) into a saucepan. Squeeze the juice of one small lemon into the saucepan.
  4. Send the saucepan to the stove. Stirring constantly, wait until all the components turn into a homogeneous mass.
  5. Transfer the ribs to a deep bowl, pour the resulting marinade.
  6. Peel and finely chop half the garlic cloves, add to the ribs. Mix thoroughly. Cover with cling film and leave to marinate at room temperature for at least one hour. The longer the ribs marinate, the tastier the dish will turn out.
  7. Wash and dry apples. Cut into large slices. Transfer apples and remaining garlic to a separate bowl. Add some salt, vegetable oil and dry spices. To stir thoroughly.
  8. Send apples with garlic to a baking dish. Arrange marinated ribs on top. Place the mold in an oven preheated to 220°C. Baking time depends on the capabilities of the oven. It is recommended to bake the ribs for about one hour. After the oven is turned off, leave the dish with the dish for about 10 minutes.
  9. Pork ribs with apples and honey in the oven are ready. Serve the dish hot. You can additionally serve them with potatoes, salad or boiled rice.
