In the center of Yakutsk, a multi-storey residential building caught fire. The building is located next to the Government House and the Parliament of the Republic, informs RIA Novosti, citing sources in the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene of the fire. Employees of the Yakutsk Fire and Rescue Garrison are working on the elimination of the fire.
Previously, the fire started in the building of the shopping center “Ilin Ener”. The fire quickly spread to an apartment building, which is located next to the parliament of the republic. The evacuation was started.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established. No casualties were reported.
