On Monday, May 8, on the eve of Victory Day, a guard of honor was organized at a military burial in Naryan-Mar. It is carried by the guys of the district military-patriotic public movement “Yunarmiya”.

– Today guys from the regional movement “Yunarmiya” took up the guard of honor. Also, together with the “Victory Volunteers” laid flowers at the burial. The place is symbolic for us. The remains of the soldiers were discovered in 2009 by Murmansk search engines and were returned to their small homeland. Here we pay tribute to the memory of all the soldiers who to this day are not buried in their native land, lie on the battlefields, in mass graves, – said Alexei Bazhukov, head of the department of patriotic education of the Youth Center of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
