In Moscow, investigators opened a criminal case after an attack on a UFSIN officer in the south of the city. The inspector was injured when he came to check on a man under house arrest. Police are looking for the suspect in the attack.
As the senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow, Yulia Ivanova, specified, the case was initiated under the article on encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer (Article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to investigators, the incident occurred on the evening of May 17 in a house on Klenovy Boulevard. An inspector of the Moscow branch of the FKU UII UFSIN of the Russian Federation came to an 18-year-old young man to make sure that he was complying with the court decision on choosing a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest. The suspect stabbed him in the neck and abdomen, and then fled. The inspector was hospitalized.
The UK clarified that the defendant is being accused in a criminal case of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm. The police are currently looking for him.
