The condition of the 88-year-old Russian director and screenwriter Gleb Panfilov, who was recently hospitalized with a stroke and pneumonia, has improved. On Sunday, May 14, the director of the theater “Lenkom Mark Zakharov” Mark Varshaver told about this.
“This is a joyful event against the backdrop of what was originally,” he said. According to Varshaver, Gleb Panfilov now recognizes his son, who is next to him in the hospital, transmits TASS. Also, the director “gives signs that speak of his further recovery.”
Warsawer added that the doctors who treat Panfilov have great faith in his recovery.
People’s Artist of the RSFSR, director and screenwriter Gleb Panfilov hospitalized in Moscow with a stroke May 11th. He was taken to the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine. He was reported to be in critical condition.
One of these days, Panfilov should turn 89 years old – he was born on May 21, 1934. The director is known for his work in film and theater. His films have repeatedly received awards from major international festivals. Among them are the paintings “There is no ford in the fire”, “I ask for words”, “Theme” and others.
