Foreigners who come to Bali will be given cards with information about what can and cannot be done on the island. About it informed portal Detik, which refers to the head of the Bali Department of Legislation and Human Rights, Angiath Napitupulu.
According to the publication, the card will be issued to a foreign citizen immediately upon arrival on the island. “Information about the bans will be recorded on one card and issued to an immigration officer. So that when tourists arrive at Ngurah Rai Airport, he would say: “Welcome to Bali, put the card in your passport,” Napitupulu explained.
He also added that a set of such rules is currently under development.
Earlier, the governor of Bali said that willing to limit foreign tourists, as well as introduce a quota system for them. According to him, mass tourism on the island will no longer be welcome. The governor called the behavior of foreign travelers the main reason for the introduction of such measures. He noted that a new phenomenon has arisen, when some tourists, mostly citizens of the Russian Federation, “do outrageous acts and hooligans.”
