In the Kurgan region, the evacuation of residents of two villages in the Shadrinsk and Shatrovsky municipal districts has been announced. We are talking about the settlements of Uldus and Kodskoye. This is stated in the message of the regional GU EMERCOM of Russia.
Information published on Sunday, May 7, in the department’s Telegram channel. The decision was made in connection with the threat of smoke in settlements due to natural fires.
Earlier in the Kurgan region, the evacuation of residents of the villages of Redkino, Ploskoy, Sladko-Karasinskoye, as well as the Topol microdistrict, the suburban villages of Uval and Smolino, and neighboring garden non-profit partnerships was announced.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region noted that about 700 people and almost 200 pieces of equipment are fighting fire in the region. Fire extinguishing complicated by gusts of wind, which reach 20 m/s, and abnormal heat.
On April 28, a state of emergency was introduced in the Kurgan region due to forest fires. The decision was signed by the head of the region.
