British mixed martial artist Fabian Edwards took on Dutchman Gegard Mousasi in the main event of Bellator 296 in Paris.
The fight went on for five rounds. It ended with Edwards winning by unanimous decision. transmits RIA Novosti 13 May.
Edwards, 30, is the younger brother of UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards. He now has 12 victories in 14 professional fights. Mousasi, the former Bellator champion, has 49 wins and nine losses, with two more fights ending in draws.
In another match of the tournament, the American Brent Primus was stronger than the representative of Tunisia Mansour Barnaoui. Primus became a rival in the Grand Prix series for Russian Usman Nurmagomedov, who is the reigning champion of the organization.
