Not far from Simferopol, five wagons with grain derailed on a haul. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
By words RIA Novosti source in emergency services, the incident occurred at 7:45 (Moscow time). The incident occurred on the stretch between the stations Pochtovoye and Chistenkoe. The reasons for the incident are being investigated.
Governor of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov confirmedthat there were no casualties as a result of the incident. He noted that a transfer by buses will be organized for passengers. “I keep the situation under personal control,” Aksyonov wrote on his Telegram channel.
The press service of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Crimean Railway” emphasizedthat the derailment of the wagons occurred due to “the interference of unauthorized persons in the work of railway transport.” They added that there is no threat to the environment, and recovery trains were sent to the scene.
