A state of emergency has been introduced on the territory of the Kurgan region due to forest fires. The corresponding resolution was signed by the head of the region Vadim Shumkov, it published on the official website of the regional government.
“In connection with the occurrence of forest fires in the territory of the Kurgan region, I decide to introduce an emergency regime in the forests of a regional nature from April 28, 2023 in the territory of the Kurgan region,” the document says.
It is recommended that the heads of municipalities inform the local population about the introduction of the state of emergency.
Since April 27, the state of emergency has been introduced only in the city of Kurgan and the Ketovsky municipal district. This happened after the fires started immediately in several settlements near Kurgan. Fire in the village of Logoushka damaged more than 70 buildingsa woman died.
