In connection with the Green Marathon, traffic will be temporarily limited on the embankments and several streets in the city center. About this on Thursday, May 18, reported on the official website of the mayor of the capital.
On the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge and Vasilyevsky Spusk Square, traffic will be blocked on May 20 from 05:00. Travel along the streets of Ilyinka and Varvarka, on Novaya and Staraya squares will be closed from 07:00. Also, from 07:50, the central embankments of the city will be closed to traffic: Sofiyskaya, Raushskaya, Kosmodamianskaya, Ustyinskaya, Kotelnicheskaya, Goncharnaya, Krasnokholmskaya, Moskvoretskaya, Kremlin and Prechistenskaya. From 08:30 it will be impossible to drive along Luzhnetskaya embankment and Balchug street. In addition, parking will be prohibited on these streets and embankments from 00:01 on May 20 until the end of the event.
It is noted that on May 21, the passage for vehicles on several streets in the city center and throughout the Garden Ring in both directions will be closed. The roads will be closed in connection with the cycling race “Garden Ring” and the Moscow spring cycling festival. So, from 01:00 to 17:00, Academician Sakharov Avenue and Masha Poryvaeva Street will be closed to traffic. Traffic in both directions of the Garden Ring will be temporarily blocked from 07:00. We are also talking about the exit from Poluyaroslavskaya embankment to Zemlyanoy Val street and Barrikadnaya and Myasnitskaya streets. From 13:00 it will be impossible to drive along Kalanchevskaya embankment.
