Capital Lokomotiv defeated Khimki in the match of the 25th round of the Russian football championship. The meeting, which took place on April 30, ended with a score of 5:1 in favor of the hosts. About it writes RIA News.
The first goal against Khimki was scored by Artem Dzyuba in the 52nd minute, and in the 71st minute he became the author of another goal. Anton Miranchuk (27th minute), Ivan Ignatiev (73rd minute) and Wilson Isidor (76th minute) also scored among the winners. The only goal for Khimki was scored by Alexander Rudenko (60th minute).
According to the results of the meeting, Lokomotiv has 32 points, the club is in 10th place in the RPL standings. “Khimki” with 17 points are in 15th place – in the relegation zone in the First League.
Artem Dzyuba is 34 years old, he is considered the best striker in the history of the Russian championships. The striker played for the Turkish club Adana Demirspor from August to November 2022.
