Children from families affected by wildfires in the Kurgan region will be able to relax in summer country camps for free. As for the elderly residents of the region, those who have received the appointment of a medical commission will be able to take a course of improvement in regional sanatoriums, informed May 9 Governor Vadim Shumkov.
Earlier it was reported that the families of those killed in emergency situations will receive lump sum compensation in the amount of one million rubles. In addition, compensation payments will be received by all residents of the region, whose houses, summer cottages or garden houses were destroyed in the fire. The size and mechanism of payments will be specified by a separate decision of the regional authorities.
Earlier it was reported that in the fire of fires in the Kurgan region killed 19 people. 13 were injured. The largest number of victims is from the village of Uldus. The identity of 46 perpetrators of natural fires has been established: seven criminal cases have been initiated.
On May 8, the region was visited by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, who said that the threat to settlements from forest fires filmed in the region.
