US leader Joe Biden has appointed Nira Tanden as head of the domestic policy council. She is a longtime Biden associate. Tanden was replaced by Susan Rice.
Now Tanden holds the positions of senior adviser to the head of state and secretary of the office. She previously served in the administrations of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. She is considered the architect of the Obamacare health care reform, which was undertaken by Obama to increase access to health care for the poor.
Tanden participated in election campaigns and was the head of think tanks. About this on Friday, May 5, informs RIA News.
Susan Rice oversaw domestic politics in the Biden administration from the start. When Obama was president, she was the head of the National Security Council.
