As Maxim Oreshkin, aide to the President of Russia, noted, there is great interest both in the Strong Ideas for the New Age forum itself and in the competition for promising domestic brands.
— We receive a lot of requests to give more time to prepare and submit applications for both the idea forum and the brand competition. That is why it was decided to extend the selection period until May 21. We are waiting for new participants and hope this year to start implementing advanced solutions that will improve the quality of life of citizens.
Thus, more than 3.5 thousand applications from all over the country have already been submitted to the contest of promising brands, which will be held as part of the forum. The Nenets Autonomous Okrug projects decided to compete for the victory from the NAO.
Entrepreneur-participant of the competition Valery Gudyrev shared his opinion on participation with the NAO24 correspondent:
— Participation in the competition is of great importance for the promotion of our brand. This will attract new customers, introduce our products to more people, and increase interest in us and the area. In addition, the winners of the competition receive valuable prizes and support from partners, which gives an additional impetus to participate. We believe in victory! I would like to note the My Business Center, which accompanies and helps when applying for the competition.
Recall that the work of the My Business centers is carried out as part of the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”, initiated by the President of the Russian Federation.
Thus, the largest number of applications for the brand competition came from Bashkiria, Moscow, Samara region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Krasnodar region.
More than 12,000 decisions have been submitted to the Strong Ideas for a New Time forum in all six areas: National Social Initiative, Entrepreneurship, National Personnel Initiative, Digital Services, National Ecological Initiative and National Technology Initiative.
Participants from the Nenets Autonomous Okrug submitted their proposals in three areas: “National Social Initiative”, “National Personnel Initiative” and “National Technological Initiative”.

Elena Yermolina, coordinator of the Strong Ideas for the New Times forum in Naryan-Mar, emphasized that the forum is a great opportunity to express your idea at the regional and federal levels:
— For example, last year two projects of the NAO passed to the face-to-face stage. Gastronomic festival “Tundra”. Regions of the Arctic” and “Husky Park”. They have already been implemented with the support of the region. This year we helped in the preparation of ideas for the Forum and held meetings with active youth and residents of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. One of the projects “You are in the profession” for career guidance of schoolchildren (excursions to the district’s enterprises) is already being actively implemented as part of the “Choose Your Own” project of the United Russia party.
The collection of ideas continues until May 21 at crowd platform.
