About this on Wednesday, May 3, informs RIA Novosti with reference to the Federal Air Transport Agency. As clarified in the department, at the first stage, it will be about providing legally relevant information in a user-friendly form about the possibility and parameters of using drones in a certain area. Users registered in it will be able to access the service.

The functionality of the new service is under development. The cost of its creation is now specified. Preliminarily, its development will be entrusted to the joint-stock company Concern VKR Almaz-Antey and the federal state unitary enterprise State ATM Corporation.

Now, on the basis of the latter, a system for providing flight plans via the Internet and the telephone network is working, indicate in the Federal Air Transport Agency. It will be the basis for the development and further development of the new service. Among the main goals of the project is the simplification of UAV access to the airspace and information support for external pilots of UAVs for flight safety.
