An air alert has been declared throughout Ukraine. About it writes “Kommersant” with a link to the official notification card. The publication clarifies that, according to local media, loud explosions are heard in Kyiv.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that several explosions were heard in the Solomensky district of the city. In the Shevchenko district, fragments of a rocket fell on the territory of the zoo, informs RBC. As the newspaper points out, the fall of rocket fragments was also recorded in Obolonsky and Darnitsky districts.
Klitschko, RBC reports, warned about the operation of the air defense system both in Kyiv and in the Kyiv region. Additional data on the destruction and casualties are not given.
An air alert throughout Ukraine was announced on the night of May 13-14. On the night of May 8, as Vitali Klitschko claimed, the most massive attack since the beginning of the Russian special operation.
