Air Moldova management announced that the airline is suspending flights. Tickets will also not be sold, the timing of the resumption of Air Moldova activities is still unknown. About it informs Moldovan publication Noi, citing the press service of the airline.

The suspension of the airline’s activities is associated with accelerated restructuring – this measure was required in order to avoid bankruptcy.

“Thus, until the court decides whether to accept or reject Air Moldova’s request, the company suspends flights and ticket sales from May 2, 2023. The resumption of activities will be possible within 3 days after the court decision,” Noi quotes from the press service of Air Moldova. .

In March 2023, Air Moldova stopped flights to Prague, London, Paris, Istanbul and Tbilisi. Flight cancellations were cited as “operational difficulties”.

Air Moldova is a state-owned airline, the largest in the country. National carrier of civil aviation of Moldova.
