Together with them, Sasha and Ilya Khatanzeysky from Karatayka came to Naryan-Mar at the invitation of the governor of the NAO, Yuri Bezdudny. These are the same guys who were on board the AN-2 aircraft during its hard landing near the village and after helped with the evacuation and providing first aid to the injured.

— The trip is going well, a lot of interesting things. I especially liked the air training of the Search and Rescue Service. Rescuers climbed and descended on the cable to the helicopter. A breathtaking sight,” said Alexander Khatanzeysky.

As explained in the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, visiting the Quantorium is only part of an extensive program prepared for schoolchildren. The children will visit the Mayak Center for Gifted Children, the Nenets Nature Reserve, a library, a local history museum, and an Arctic Tourism Center. There will also be an entertainment program – the guys will go karting and play in the family entertainment center.

As the teacher of chemistry and biology, the organizer of extra-curricular activities of the school in the village of Amderma, Irina Koval, noted, this is a great opportunity for the children to get to know Naryan-Mar, where many of them were just passing through.

All of our children are good. They tend to engage in circles, are engaged in project and research activities. The children were from 4th to 6th grade. I am very pleased with such an interesting and rich program. Every day is tightly packed. It is great that the issue of children’s educational tourism was raised at the level of the government of the country. We have a huge district, the villages are far from each other. Some children visited the “red city” in transit with their parents, and now they will have the opportunity to fully get to know the capital of the region, expand their horizons and get a lot of new experiences,” said Irina Koval.

Sixth grade student Mark Skoryi was so imbued with the Quantorium that he is ready to choose computer graphics as his future profession.

— I have already been to Naryan-Mar, but this is the first time in such a technopark. I am very interested, it is unusual to create different shapes on a computer. Perhaps I have already decided on a profession. I will continue to study this direction,” says Mark.

Earlier, President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed all regions to create cultural and educational projects for children for a fruitful acquaintance with their native land. On behalf of the governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the project “The Capital of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug” was developed. The first trip within the framework of this program was decided to be held for schoolchildren from the village of Amderma.
